micro apartment part 2

I’ve written about micro apartments before on this blog, but I really wanted to share this clip with you. It shows Treehugger‘s founder Graham Hill in his small New York apartment. What I like about this, is that it not only shows how a small apartment can still feel very comfortable and luxurious, but above all that it makes me think about how to simplify my life. Because living in an apartment with limited space forces you to have a critical look at all the things you own. Do you really need plates in four different sizes and wouldn’t you be just as happy borrowing books from a library instead of having to own a copy of every book you want to read? A simpler life (in material sense) gives room to so many things that give real joy, other than objects.
