I’ve been keeping an eye on Dutch agency DOEPEL STRIJKERS ever since I learned about their work for the Haka building in Rotterdam. Architect Duzan Doepel and interior architect Eline Strijkers have been working together since 2007 on various projects concerning (interior) architecture and urban strategies. They are known for their sustainable solutions to urban problems.
This video is part of a series on Dutch designers and architects and gives a better insight into the design process of the Haka building and their assignments in general. I absolutely love what Doepel and Strijkers did with the old municipality in Waalwijk, creating a new home for SLEM (Shoe Leather Education Museum).
